Description
This experience encompasses hanggliding and microlighting together, via aerotowing. A microlight tows up the tandem hang glider to a height of approx 750m whereby the hang glider releases and flies freely. The duration of the flight is approx 30min. This offers an experience of free flight above the mountains of the Magaliesberg, with views of the Hartebeespoort Dam in the distance. Often thermal flights are experienced as the ground heats up and thermals are generated, causing the wing to climb higher and stay airborne for longer periods.

We fly on Sunday mornings starting at 08h00 and the sport is weather-dependant.
The pilot has an instructor license and has been flying for 24 years. Operated by Thermal Riders Hang Gliding Club
